The following e-mail based Lists have been created for the exclusive use by VTA Member Councils. The VTA seeks to make the sharing of pertinent information among and between its member Councils as easy and efficient as it can be. Those persons with specific responsibilities and interests at each member Council should be able to communicate immediately and directly among themselves without having to go through the "filter" of a representative. You may withdraw from a List at anytime, but you may only be added through the action of your Council leaders. Please speak with them about adding your name and/or creating any other topical List that would be of value to you and your Council.

publicypolicy@thevta.org …is intended to facilitate and coordinate the dialogue on and the development of Public Policy and Legislative matters of interest to your Council and to the technology community it represents. If you are a leader of the legislative policy development activity in your Council, speak to your Executive Director or other officer about your addition to this List. View list members.

membership@thevta.org …is for use by those current Council members who wish to share and inquire and gain knowledge of how to increase membership, secure and manage sponsors. If you have a responsibility building membership or securing sponsors, speak with your Executive Director or other officer about your addition to this List. View list members.

programs@thevta.org …for exchange, discussion, about hosting the best member programs. These might include: speakers, seminars, awards banquets, golf outings, networking events, joint programs between Councils, etc. A forthright exchange of what works and what doesn’t, tips & tricks for event success, handling dignitaries and anything else of interest. If you have a responsibility or interest in developing, promoting, and running programs for your membership, speak with your Executive Director or other officer about your addition to this List. capitalaccess@thevta.org …for use by those member Council designees who seek to expand the financial resources available to the emerging technology companies in your Council. This may involve early or later-stage invested capital, debt financing, sophisticated banking services, deal participation, advice & counsel, or simply raising the visibility of the attractive investment potential of the technology community throughout Virginia. If you have a responsibility or interest in advancing the financial options for technology companies, speak with your Executive Director or other officer about your addition to this List. friends@thevta.org ... is for use whenever a message needs to be delivered to all friends of the VTA. This List includes friends of the VTA whom we wish to keep informed of meeting notices, etc. View list members.
